Equine Podiatry

 Shelley studied under Dr. KC LaPierre, and assistant taught at the Institute Of Equine Podiatry in 2000. She also has followed Pete Rameys barefoot method's and idea's from 2004 until today.  Not many people can say they have done all this, and preformed countless documented trims on over 300 horses.

Shelley opened Delmarva Equine Podiatry Services in 2001 which covered clients on the entire Eastern Shore of Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and Shelley also treated horses as far as New Jersey, North Carolina and West Virginia.  Shelley then became a specialist in lameness and spoke for two years at the Delaware Equine Expo in Harrington, Delaware and she also wrote articles, preformed barn lectures and demonstrations at numerous barns in the area.

 After successfully running a podiatry business for over nine years Shelley has now decided to offer trimming lessons and consultations in addition to her speciality trimming practice.

Trim Lessons

$65.00 per hour. Four lesson intervals to be paid for up front and in cash.

Hoof Consultations - don't know what to do about your horses hooves? Need a plan? Second opinion perhaps?

Haul in's- $25.00 per half hour.

Farm call $30.00 (if I need to travel to your barn.) Then add the $25.00 per half hour consultation.

Natural Trimming

HPT trim applied- $70.00 (problem hoof/ lameness)

Simple Trim- $45.00  (healthy hoof)
